SCCPTA is offering training for the 2017-18 National PTA Reflections Program on Monday, August 7th at Winter Springs High School. Details are on the attached flyer.
Reflections is an arts program offering creative students recognition in a variety of categories at the school, county, state, and national levels. If your school has not participated in Reflections, come learn about this opportunity. Remember: Your PTA must engage in three programs for ever fundraiser. Let Reflections be one of your programs this year!
If your school's art teacher helps with Reflections, please encourage them to attend.
Keep the pressure on! The Trump Administration just released their proposed budget and as expected, it includes a massive and devastating $9.2 billion cut to public education.
President Trump’s budget proposal eliminates funding for educator professional development and for grants which help ensure students receive well-rounded educational opportunities, learn in healthy and safe school environments and have opportunities to use technology in the classroom.
Email your Members of Congress to tell them to fund our public schools and reject proposals that would undermine opportunities for all children!
