![]() Students across Seminole County have enjoyed another year of participation in the National PTA Reflections Program. Students created visual arts, photography, literature, music, film production and dance choreography inspired by this year’s theme, “What’s Your Story?”. Thirty-five schools supported the Reflections program this year with over 350 winning entries advancing to SCCPTA for county level judging. Three Seminole County level winners in each arts area and level represented will advance to the state level of competition with Florida PTA. Congratulations to the many talented and creative students who participated in the program this year and thank you to the many PTA/PTSA Reflections Chairs, committees, parents and teachers, our SCCPTA Reflections team, and the many volunteer judges at all levels who dedicated many hours to supporting the program. The County Winners and Honorable Mention Winners will receive their award ribbons and be honored at the SCCPTA Reflections Awards Ceremony and Vendor Event on Wednesday, March 1 at 7pm at Winter Springs High School. Non winners who advanced to compete at the county level will receive a SCCPTA Reflections Participation Ribbon later this spring. Plan to attend the SCCPTA Reflections Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, March 1 at Winter Springs High School. The event begins with a Vendor event, Food Trucks, Cookie Reception and Art Exhibit at 5pm, and the Awards Ceremony begins at 7 pm. It is always a special event and we look forward to celebrating with you all! Congratulations again and good luck to the Seminole County Council PTA level winners in each arts area and level who advance to the state level of competition with Florida PTA. They will be competing with other county winners from across the state for the Florida PTA Reflections awards. The Florida PTA Reflections winners will be announced in March and will be celebrated at the Florida PTA Reflections Awards Ceremony on Saturday, April 22 in Pinellas County.
