Top Program Award

• One Elementary School, one Middle School and one High School each will be recognized for each program award category (Family Engagement, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and Health & Wellness).  A program may fall into multiple categories.  Instead of requiring separate applications, we have simplified the process. When completing the application, select the box next to all of the applicable categories for that specific program.
  • Outstanding Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Program Award - This award is given to programs that promote activities which convey how the PTA supports diversity, equity and inclusion in our schools and communities by bringing together a wide range of students, parents and the community together for the good of the school.
  • Outstanding Health & Wellness Program - PTA has always advocated for children’s safety and well-being.  This award is to recognize the PTA/PTSA units that offer effective safety programs which provide students, parents, and communities with information on keeping children safe.
  • Outstanding Family Engagement Program Award - This award strives to recognize outstanding efforts by PTA/PTSAs in supporting their entire school community (including those learning virtually).

• The award committee will select Top Program Awards from the program applications received.

 

• While you can submit one program for multiple program award categories, you are still required to submit separate applications for each program you want considered for judging.  For instance, if you have an International Night, you may want to submit that program for all three award categories on a single application.  But if you also want a STEM night considered, you would submit that as a separate application.
