Local Unit New & Returning Officer Contact Information
July 1st annually, or as soon as elections are held.
Enter information​ on the Florida PTA website HERE.  They will then update Givebacks.  Once you are added to givebacks, you can then add any additional board members.
This form must be submitted every year, even if officers remain the same.  This form must also be submitted if there are any mid-year changes to officers.
Monthly Membership Dues (State & National)
Monthly, as dues are collected
Pay in Givebacks or via USPS Mail using the monthly dues payment form HERE.
Dues must be received by December 15 of each year to participate in Reflections and other programs.
Annual Audit
​(Fiscal Year runs from July 1 - June 30)
Copy due to Florida PTA by August 31.

The annual audit form can be found in the Florida PTA Kit of Materials and on their website HERE.
IRS 990 must be filed with the IRS by November 15.  Click HERE to get started.

All PTA/PTSA's are required to file either the 990N (e-postcard), 990EZ (short form), or 990 (long form).  Click HERE to learn which one your local unit should file.
Bylaws
Every 3 years
Upload to givebacks or email to [email protected].  The form and instructions are available HERE.
The bylaws must be reviewed, updated, and approved at the state office every 3 years, even if there are no changes.  Please note that any changes to the bylaws on the Florida PTA website apply even if your local unit is not due to update theirs.

If President is not available, they may designate another Officer as their representative.  Click HERE to RSVP (1 person per PTA/PTSA).
County Council Membership Dues ($70 / year)

SCCPTA Trainings
The president, secretary, and treasurer must attend at least one training EACH by

While only one training is required for each of these roles, all board members are welcome and encouraged to attend all trainings.

All PTA/PTSA Units must be represented at 2 general meetings. This is defined as a minimum 1 board member from your PTA/PTSA appointed to vote (required).
