Volunteer Connection
The Volunteer Connection Committee has two objectives: to supply local units with volunteers when needed, and to support the non-traditional schools in Seminole County.  For local units, it is often difficult to find people to assist with events.  As a result, the same volunteers are present at all the PTA events.  The goal of this committee is to help alleviate the stress of searching for helpers by compiling a database of potential volunteers who can assist when needed.

Our second objective is to support non-traditional schools.  These schools do not have PTAs, so they lack the assistance that a PTA would normally provide to a traditional school.  The Volunteer Connection Committee would like to bridge this gap by recognizing and supporting teachers, staff, and students, and by assisting when needed.
