Reflections Arts Program

Welcome to the SCCPTA Reflections Program!

The theme for the 2025-2026 program year is

I BELONG !

Hint: Remember 40% of their mark, when judging is performed, is awarded based on how the artists statement about how their artwork ties to the theme, make sure you help your students work just as hard on their statement as they did creating their artwork.

All students attending PTA schools* sponsoring the program are invited to participate.
Students should submit their completed works of art in one, more or all of the available arts categories:

Dance Choreography
Film Production
Literature
Music Composition
Photography
Visual Arts

*Hint: If a student attends a school that does not sponsor the National PTA Reflections Program, they may join the Sunshine State PTA and submit an entry through the Sunshine State PTSA.

Getting Started:
First before anything else:
Register your PTA at the National level for Reflections for 2025-2026: https://www.pta.org/home/programs/reflections.

Hint: Sign up for all categories even if you don't think that you will get entries in some of them.

Theme Search Contest:
The Reflections Program selects the theme each year from entries into this contest, our current theme was the winner from 2 years ago, we have next years theme already so this contest is for 2027 - 2028 school year

The page translates into many different languages so will be accessible to the vast majority of our ESOL students and families.
Hint: please encourage the student to review past themes at the site so that they do not enter one that has already been used.

Key Dates:
Local Unit Student Winners Submission Portal for County is available thru November 10, 2025
Allow yourself time to collect and judge before submission of winning entries to county.

Reflections Rule Tips for 2025 - 2026

Ensure that your students know the rules, catch issues early and try to allow time in your deadlines for students to correct their entries so that they will not be disqualified.
If you cannot understand any of the rules please ask - [email protected], if we are not sure we will get you and all of our other PTA's the answer from State/National.
