Starting A New PTA

Starting a PTA can be one of the most impactful ways to strengthen the connection between families, schools, and the community. A PTA provides a structured, proven framework for parent engagement, volunteer support, student programs, advocacy, and fundraising while giving families a meaningful voice in supporting their school’s goals. As part of the Florida PTA and National PTA network, local units receive access to leadership training, resources, best practices, grants, advocacy support, and a community of experienced leaders who can help them succeed. Most importantly, a PTA helps create opportunities that enrich the educational experience for every child while building a stronger school community. (Florida PTA)
